• It's fairly simple: Don't be a dumbass.

Of course, people disagree on what that means, so we're going to clear up a few basics around here:

    - Respect others time and person. We don't care what walk of life you're from or any personal choices you make in that life. We merely ask you act kindly and respectfully towards each other.
    - We will not discuss personal religion or politics. This seems to always lead to a fight.
    - No self advertising, without express permission from the admins.
    - Keep topics on topic.

In the end, there are probably more specific rules that need to be written, but in general don't be a dumbass pretty much encompasses everything that needs to be said.

This is a thread for all things Zelda. Future games, past games, theories, etc.

Here are some possible discussion prompts for you:

What Zelda game are you currently playing?
What game is your favorite and why?
What changes would you like to see in the future for the series?
What are your theories regarding future projects or the movie?
Who is your favorite character and why?
Which game has the best music?
What is your favorite gameplay mechanic?
What's your backstory with the series and when did you start playing?
What art-style did you like the most?
What character or group of characters would you like to see return in future games?
What game should be remade or remastered next?
What weapon or game mechanic would you like to see return?
Can you think of a single story beat in the games that really moved you or impacted you personally?

The questions are probably unlimited. Use your imagination. There's nothing off limits. Follow all Nintalk rules. Have fun!

Current I am in the middle of play thrus of Echoes of Wisdom, Tears of The Kingdom, Skyward Sword, Ocrina of Time and Oracle of Ages. I go back and forth betweens games to keep them fresh. Right now I want Twilight Princess and Windwaker for Switch but I am willing to wait for Switch 2 verisons. I am also been waiting for a Zelda to look like the Wii U tech demo.

yeah, tears of the kingdom just didn't really do it for me tbh, breath of the wild was amazing and I'm playing through the game right now on master mode but tears of the kingdom it didn't really hook me tbh. I'm hoping echos of wisdom is a little better from what I've played at a friends house it's a lot more quality over quantity

I can tell that Echoes of Wisdom started as a Zelda dungeon maker and I personally wish it was released as a dungeon maker. I think that would have been amazing.

I've been wanting to play echos of wisdom but I'm not sure if its worth the cost I've heard mixed things about it
Have you seen any gameplay footage? I know sometimes a bit of footage can be a make-it-or-break it type of deal, so maybe watch like five minutes? As for BotW and TotK is concerned, I feel we're about the same in terms on how we feel about those games, so maybe Echoes of Wisdom could be worth a shot.

I played EOW and really enjoyed it. 100% completed it. I'll probably replay it at some point but right now I'm doing a deep dive back into TOTK. I think I'm enjoying it more the second time around. The story is hitting harder, the game mechanics and exploration is more enjoyable. I never beat the final boss the first time I played so I'm definitely looking forward to that experience this time around.

It's funny I bought the game a month after it launched played it for a little bit never touched again but I got back into breath of the wild granted I bought all of the DLC packs including master mode so I've been enjoying that. EOW seems like a game I'm willing to give a go since it reminds me of A link between worlds

I think the Wind Waker art-style is probably my favorite and it's definitely the most controversial. I love Wind Waker. Such a good game. Although, the watercolor art-style in Skyward Sword was really fricken cool too.

I tried emulating the Wii U version on my M1 MacBook but it ran pretty terribly so as of now I don't have a way to play the game, I'm just waiting for nintendo to release winemaker for switch. Cmon nintendo ninjas at least give me that
